A new park in Newton?

In 2008, the Mass Highway Department tore up this meadow to use it as a construction staging area for the repaving of Route 128. The department plans to restore the meadow after the project is completed: "The green space intent for the property is certainly recognized, and that's what the long-term intent is," said [the state spokesman]. "The contractor is obligated to return the site as they found it, and replant anything that may have been disturbed in the process." Source
