The summer 2011 banner photo, showing a butterfly in a field of cosmos, was taken at Nahanton Park several years ago, in the meadow that was used as a dump by the City of Newton during winter 2011.
The City has agreed to restore the meadow, and find other dumping places in the future.
We are optimistic that the cosmos and butterflies will be back.
